After a period of temporary hiatus, Futurama is returning to broadcast television and will air early 2010. For those of you who don’t know what Futuram is, I’ll sum the series up in 5 words…

“A spokesperson for 20th Century Fox Television confirms that the cable net has ordered 26 newepisodes of Matt Groening and David X. Cohen’s late, great animated series to air beginning in 2010. The studio cites Futurama‘s “blockbuster” performance on DVD and in reruns on Comedy Central as the reason for its rebirth.”
I’m glad quality tv is making a comeback. I’m sick of watching shows about stupid assholes like Spencer Pratt, Bret Michaels, and Tyler Perry. Yea…Tyler Perry sucks.
